Description A clipping of a weekly series from "The Sun" newspaper called "Those Were The Days". The series was written by Jim Greenblat as he reminisces on the past of Swift Current. This particular article is from 19 June 1970. It talks about a massacre that almost happened in Swift Current in 1885, as told by Hill Gregory. It almost happened twice: once when aboriginals were asked to perform their war dance in town, and then again when a war council was held, and one aboriginal threatened the chief. There is also mention in the article of the surveying of River land in 1883.
