It talks about Hill Gregory, and Captain John Palliser's original evaluation of the land around Swift Current and the area's later massive agricultural output, in part thanks to the Experimental farm. The article also discusses an episode where cattle rustlers took nine cattle from the area in 1884, and were then hunted down by cowboys from Montana. A graduation message for Louis Stringer is included as well.
