A clipping of a weekly series from "The Sun" newspaper called "Those Were The Days". The series was written by Jim Greenblat as he reminisces on the past of Swift Current. This particular article is from 13 February 1970. It talks about the '76 ranch, first when the Canadian Agricultural Coal and Colonization Company started it in 1888 only to fail. It was then controlled by Gordon, Ironside and Fares, who profited well enough until WWI. There is also mention of some of the last ranching buildings of said ranch, sold by the city of Swift Current in the 1950s.
