Man's detachable collar with a brocade stripe pattern. The collar is soft with no starch. It also has two button holes at either end, and one in the centre. The collar belonged to Cyrus Newell it was given to him by his daughter Laura Killen in the 20's. At one time shirts had separate collars. Some were made of celluloid (?) and the men just changed the collar before they went out for an engagement
