Description Wooden egg crate. It is made of slats with cardboard dividers that separate the eggs from each other. The crate is used for carrying 144 eggs, four layers of 36 eggs each.

Marks/Labels "Humpty Dumpty. // Patented Aug. 5, 1896" is stamped into the side of the crate.
