Red projectile point with a lanceolate shape. It also has a concave base, chipped edges, and no notches on the side.
Given its length and shape, this seems to be an atlatl point rather than a spearpoint or arrowhead. Atlatls or spearthrowers were used to hunt smaller game, and were popular during the Middle Period, 7500 to 2000 years before present (BP). Looking more at details, the specific shape of the point resembles that of McKean points from 4,100 to 3,500 years before present (BP). ~root~>
