Black projectile point. The point has shallow U-shaped notches, and square ears. The base is the same length as the lower portion of the arrow, and the edges curve slightly up to the tip. This point seems to be an arrowhead based on its shape and size. The bow and arrow became popular in the Late Period, which took place around 2,000 to 300 years before present (BP). This particular arrowhead most closely resembles Avonlea points from 1,350 to 1,100 years before present (BP) or Plains Side-Notched points from 450 to 250 years before present (BP).
