1200 bp
White projectile point, possibly made of quartz. The base is fairly straight and is broken on one end. The point also has side notches which are wide and U-shaped. The edges up to the tip seem to be different shapes as one is straight while the other is rounded.
The specific shape of the point resembles that of Pelican Lake points from about 3,500 to 2,000 years before present (BP). Even though these points were most popular during the Middle Period when atlatl darts were most common, the smaller varieties of Pelican Lake points are said to possibly be indicative of bow and arrow technology. There is also a possibility that it could be a Prairie Side-Notched arrowhead from about 1,200 to 550 years before present.~root~>
