White projectile point, possibly made of quartz. The point has a straight base, wide side notches, and straight edges up to the tip. This particular point is possibly an atlatl dart point. Atlatls or spearthrowers were used to hunt smaller game, and were popular during the Middle Period, 7500 to 2000 years before present (BP). The specific shape of the point resembles that of Sonota points from about 1,500 to 1,350 years before present (BP).
