Description Panoramic view of downtown Swift Current, taken in 1912. The panorama is made of three individual photos taped together. The caption reads: "Portion of Business Centre 1912". The photo was taken from the top of the Empress Hotel at the corner of Cheadle Street and 1st Avenue NW, looking east. Visible businesses include Anderson and Edmanson Implements, and Swift Current Collegiate Institute. There is also a good view of Central Avenue.
