A photo from a 1948 Frontier Days parade with the theme of "Salute to Pioneer Women" or "Pioneer Mothers", outside W.W. Cooper Store. The street is lined with spectators. A float from the Canadian Legion reads "Salute to Pioneer Women They Held the Home Front". On the float there is a facade from a house and a white picket fence.
