Description Portrait of a young woman, wearing a black dress with a white collar, Gladys Akister, taken at White Bear, Saskatchewan, in 1916, colour and detail has been painted onto photo. Gladys Akister is the niece of George Akister. She came to Saskatchewan with her father, John Akister, at the age of 11 in 1909. She married E.H.
