Puttee, long, thin piece of of knit material, one end is pointed and sewn to a long, narrower cotton strap, intended to be wrapped around the leg from ankle to knee for protection. According to donor record, he was a member of the 2nd Canadian Guard during late 1950s and early 1960s.
