WWII battle dress jacket army jacket. Waist-length, fastens with buttons, two breast pockets, belt is attached at waist, each arm bears a red patch, a khaki good conduct chevron, and flash reading "2 Canadian Guards", right arm bears a patch of a circle with a cross on it over laurel leaves, left arm bears the patch of two crossed rifles under a crown. Similar wool trousers are 2007.22.9. According to donor record, he was a member of the 2nd Canadian Guard during late 1950s and early 1960s.
Wool Serge
Stamped on inner lining "Miller and Gabbe Ltd. // Blouses Serge // 1952 // Size No. 11 // [measurements], and a stamp with a triangle-like shape in a circle. "R" stamped on inner waistband.
