A photo of the Unique Theatre, a movie theatre on the corner of Chaplin Street and Central Avenue in Swift Current. The building was constructed c. 1910. A stone block in the building reads "IOOF" and the signs of the current showings read "Lassoing Wild Animals // Africa // Famous Pictures" and "Buffalo Jones." Five unidentified people are standing in front of the theatre, the adjacent building appears to be St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. The sign on the side of the building reads "The Greatest Sensation in the History of Motion Pictures // Buffalo Jones // The World Famed Cowboy // Lassoing Wild Animals in Africa // Capturing Ferocious Lion and Wild Rhinoceros with Nothing but the Lasso // Don't Fail to See it." The image is mounted on a black cardboard mat.
