Medal, silver-toned metal on a blue and yellow ribbon, one side bears an image of Queen Victoria and is dated 1854, the other side bears and image of an angel and a soldier and the word "Crimea", there are three bars across the ribbon that reads "Sebastopol", "Inkermann" and Alma", this refers to the battles fought by the 44th Regiment of Foot during the Crimean War. Purchased by donor.
