Red militia jacket, hip-length, brass buttons bear an image of a beaver and read "Canada Militia", there is a chain mail patch on both shoulders, this is a dress uniform, worn by Dr. J.P. Whyte, who was a dentist during WWII and a member of the 14th Canadian Light Horse militia. There are no labels on the jacket. Dr. J.P. Whyte was a dentist in Swift Current, at least from 1923 to c.1939.
