Hat to accompany trainman uniform, cap-like style, flat top and straight sides, plastic brim on front, two lines of white piping around the circumference, leather lining. Box 37. Accompanying jacket, pants, and vest is 1998.7.1a-c. According to donor form: "Used by donor while employed by the CPR William N. Barr grew up in Lemsford. Trainman CPR 1964-1971, Conductor CPR 1971-1990, worked out of SC 1967-1968, retired 1990. Trainman's winter uniform purchased in 1969 (pants are CN uniform)"

Two tags inside, one states that the piece was union made, the other is for "One Hour Martinizing" (dry cleaning). "C.P.R. Trainman" lettered on the front from cord.
