Jacket for a Canadian Pacific Railway Trainman uniform, double breasted, silver buttons read "Canadian Pacific" and bear an image of a beaver, reverse side of buttons reads "J.R. Gaunt // Made in England // Montreal", left cuff has a small metal bar sewn to it, likely denoting rank. 1998.7.1b-d are a vest, pants, and a hat.
According to donor, "Used by [William N Barr] while employed by the CPR. William N Barr grew up in Lemsford, Saskatchewan and was a trainman from 1964-1971, conductor 1971-1990, worked out of Swift Current 1967-1968, retired 1990. Trainman's winter uniform purchased in 1969 (pants are CN uniform)".~root~>
