Description Image of two adjacent Tanneries in Swift Current. Located at Cheadle Street and 3rd Avenue Northwest. McIntyre's Tannery, W.J. (Bill) McIntyre proprietor, opened c.1921. Sign reads "Tanners Hide Fur and Horsehair Dealers // Robes and Leather for Sale". Swift Current Tannery, sign reads " Swift Current // Tannery // Robes - Rawhide - Leather", several men lined up on the street outside the building.
