There is also a logo in the bottom right hand corner of the photo with an University of Calgary logo (symbol) imprinted there. A rectangular photograph framed in a beige photo case. There are 2 people - Lieutenant Governor Grant MacEwan & Madame Olga Valda Kavaner wearing a graduation gown. Olga Valda Hielibter or Gielibter, was born in 1893, it is believed that they left Russia in 1917 when the revolution was taking place. She came with a stage group to Shaunavon, stayed, married the CPR state agent, Ross Kavaner. She was a ballerina so she taught ballet. Pat Johnson remembered her mother making fifty costumes for her dancing class.
