It is a rectangular block of wood with a hand carved relief of the number zero or the letter "O" (movable typeface). The relief surface is a deep burgundy and the surface is slightly glossy as the original coat of varnish is still evident. The carved down portion is black and the carving marks are clearly evident. The back is discoloured by dirt/grime and the top section of the back is marked by water stains. There is also three remnants of ripped off glued on paper. 2.5x0.3cm groove carved in the upper right side and is 2.5cm deep.
