Description Booklet entitled "Outline of City Plan for Swift Current", prepared by the City Planning Commission, which consisted of Mayor F.E. West, W W Cooper, George Ferris, F G Westlake, and Alex Yager. Their plan was adopted by the Swift Current City Council on May 7 1918. The plan contains the following headings: Period; Area; Utilities; Storm Sewers; Sewage System; Schools; Public Library; Police Station; Fire Halls; Railways; Civic Centre; Public Market; City Parks; Public Bridges; Rural Railways; Subways; Abattoirs; Conduits; Public Works; Expenditures; Provisions for Maps and Plans; Street Railway or Motor Tram Routes.
