Newspaper article, likely from "The Sun", dated September 22, 1961. The article details the ceasing of operations of the Swift Current horse meat plant, and that Alsask was to move related production to Edmonton. The manager of the Alsask division of the Quaker Oats company, Jack Ratcliffe, outlined some severance compensation for the 41 employees who still worked at the plant during the time of the announcement.
