*Picture block* tongue and groove joined rectangular block. The bottom 2 corners have been cut out of the block. From the front view the left missing corner measures 1.0cm wide by 1.8cm long, and the right missing corner is 0.8cm wide by 1.4cm long. However, the right side has a 0.8cm wide by 1.2cm long block nailed into it, with a relief square on top. Front: stained green. Mostly relief wood; the recessed areas are for the detail. In the middle is a recessed circle with a diameter of 15.4cm. In the center of this circle is the relief outline of the dominion flag of Canada. There are 2 tassels hanging from pole which is 13cm tall. The flag is 11.2cm wide by 8.0cm long. There is a 1.7cm by 2.0cm crest in the bottom left corner of the flag. On each side of the circle is a line of about 4 maple leaves 10.6cm long, and 4.2cm wide. There are 24.3cm tall recessed curves that meet right below the middle circle. They each begin at the right or left edge. The green stain is darker in the recessed areas. Sides: Tongue and groove joints are visible in the bottom and top sides. There is a label on the left side with the previous temporary number written on it. Back: Strip of tape on the right side with "DAG 313" written on it in red ink.
