Front: stained blue and is mostly recessed. 12cm above the bottom edge beegins on large connected relief sections made of 4 components: 1) 48.1cm wide by 1.1cm long rectangle serving as relief bottom edge. 2) Running up the left edge is the design of a clown bending forward at the waist with his arms extended behind him. Design covers a total area (largest measurments) of 17.3cm wide by 40.3cm long. The left clown appears to be holding this drum behind his back. 4) Extending up from the bottom relief line up the right side of the block, is a second clown covering a total area of 24cm by 50cm tall. Part of this clown is blocked, mostly in the torso by the base drum he is holding in front of him. The outline and mallet that the clown is holding are done in relief--the rest is recessed.
