Fluting / Charcoal Flatiron

Charcoal fluting or flatiron. The iron has a chimney to insert charcoal, and a revolving gate on the other end to remove ashes. There is a removable curved fluting iron attached to the top, as well as a turned wood handle. The iron was made by H. S. Pease, patented on August 14 1888, in Cincinnati, Ohio.~root~>
