*Text Block* tongue and groove rectangular wood block. Front: stained orange. Mostly relief wood, with recessed wood around the edges. This block provides the background/outline for the word "EXHIBITION" which is written backwards and is on a convex curve. Each letter is not individually defined except for at the top and bottom. The curving letters are approximately 18cm long all along the curve, which meets the top edge at the "b". The text begins 1.8cm up from the bottom edge and 3.8cm from the right edge and ends 3.5cm up from the bottom edge and 4.3cm from the left edge (Please note that the end of "N" rises up about 2.2cm from the edge closest to the bottom). Directly surrounding the letters are linear grooves to define the top and bottom edges of the letters, but the rest of the surrounding recessed wood has circular grooves. "EXHIBITION" has been stamped over top in green ink, somewhat faint. 2 small sections have been carved out of it for definition. The bottom cutout is larger than the top: 1)bottom--approximately 3.5cm wide by 4cm long. 2) top-- 2.2cm wide by 3cm long. Sides: plain wood with remnants of orange stain near the front edges and black marks are visible in the wood grain (particularly on the top and bottom) Back: "Orange" is handwritten down the center in pencil. "BOTTOM" is stamped in red ink directly onto the wood to the left of "Orange". Otherwise wood is plain.~root~>
