*Filler Block* Possibly tongue and groove rectangular wood block. Part 2 of a set of blocks; this block fills the negative/recessed area of 2015.1.152a. Front: Stained yellow. Mostly filled by a rectangular (ish) shape with curved edges and sides. Surrounding this shape is recessed wood, very rough, and carved with a circular headed tool. Relief wood shape hs 2 lines carved into it. 1)20.7cm up from the bottom edge this gap is 0.4cm wide and runs 27.7cm across (horizontally) the relief shape. 2) 0.8cm above the first line/gap is another measuring 0.4cm wide by 4.5cm long. Relief shape has 2 curves in the bottom, a large curve at the top, 2 curves on the left, and 3 curves on the right. Sides: black ink marks can be seen in the wood grain. Back: Paper strips (brown) have been glued to the top half. "No. 53" has been written in pencil on the bottom right corner upside down.
