*Picture Block* Tongue and groove rectangular block. Front: Stained orange. Block is mostly recessed leaving 3 relief designs: first in th bottom right, second in the center of the block, third down the left side. The first is a small rectangle beginning 6cm from the right edge and 1.5cm from the bottom edge. Rectangle is on a slight up and left diagonal and measures 14.5cm wide by 13cm long. 2.8cm to the left of the square is the first of the 2 parallel lines, each measuring 0.6cm wide by 18.0cm long, separated by a space of 5.8cm wide. The left side's relief design is hard to describe, see picture for more detail. This design is flush to the edges on the left, top for 7.5cm (from top left corner) and along the bottom for 14cm (from bottom left corner). Beginning at the bottom, the outer edge curves inward twice almost like a backwards 3. Then it goes left for 0.5cm before going straight up for 2.5cm. Then it moves diagonally down and left for 3cm before curving back up and diagonally right for 7cm. Then the edge does another slight curve inwards and up for 7cm, before dipping into a "v" shape and then making a large curve in (.8cm deep) and up to the top edge. Orange colour is concentrated to the relief portions of the block. Recessed wood has patches of dark stain around relief designs. Sides: Black ink marks in wood and some residual stain. Back: "Orange" handwritten in pencil in the back center. Cut into the back 13.5cm from the top left corner and is 2.5cm long.
