** T&G rectangular picture block** Front: Stained yellow. The top, left and right borders are all connected. The left border is 0.7cm wide, the right is 0.8cm wide and the top is 3.6cm wide. There is a 2.5 cm gap between the left/right borders and the bottom 2.5 cm border. All borders are in relief wood. Just under the top border is a recessed section with a scalloped bottom, which portrays the banner on a carousel. Inside this section are two designs in relief of two clowns. This section is 30.6cm wide x 13.4 cm long. Below this section is another recessed section 29cm long x 28 cm wide (at the widest and longest points). Under the horse is a relief design of a ferris wheel and some stands, The final recessed section, just above the bottom border, would depict a crowd at the stands. This block is related to 2015.1.138a and 2015.1.138b. Sides: Residual yellow stain near the front edges. Back: "yellow" is written in pencil in the center of the block. "No. 97" is stamped in purple ink above yellow. Black marks in the wood grain on both the back and the sides of the block.
