Wood picture block. There is evidence of the tongue and groove technique used on the block on the bottom side. Front: flat rectangle with an intricate outline of a roaring tiger into raised wood that is stained black. The wood around the tiger is stained a dark blue, and it is fading in places. The tiger head is 4.6cm from the top edge and 13.9cm from the bottom edge. The tiger's face is 22.7cm wide and 24.5cm tall. Back: There is a strip of masking tape in the top right corner with "DAG 297" written on it in red ink. "No. 231" is stamped near the middle in purple ink.

Notes: Height measures the thickness, width measures horizontally from side to side, and length measures vertically from the top to bottom.
