July 4 1946
A group of four men wearing white coats on a tour of a meat processing plant. They are standing by hanging horse carcasses. Two of the men are Tommy Douglas and Government Inspector Dr. Lornis. The image comes from a scrapbook filled with images of the Swift Current Co-operative Horse Packing Plant, a meat processing plant. An Open House was held on July 4, 1946, one year after the plant's opening, and may be when this photo was taken. ~root~>
