July 4 1946
A photo of six men wearing white coats on a tour of a meat processing plant. Three of the men are foreman Henry Hepfner, Tommy Douglas, and Government Inspector Dr. Lornis. Some workers are in the background. The image comes from a scrapbook filled with images of the Swift Current Co-operative Horse Packing Plant, a meat processing plant. An Open House was held on July 4, 1946, one year after the plant's opening, and may be when this photo was taken. ~root~>
