Stereoscopic card for a stereoscope. The card bears two almost identical photographs which, when viewed through the stereoscope, appears three-dimensional. The image is from the Russo-Japanese War of cannons blasting on a countryside landscape in China. It was likely taken during the attack on February 8 and 9 in 1904. The caption reads: "Japanese Battery Bombarding Russian Stronghold at Port Arthur", and "Copyright 1905 by American Stereoscope Co." is written underneath.
