Arrowhead Projectile Point (1000 bp)
Artifact

1000 bp
White projectile point, likely made of quartz. The point has a base with the one side broken off, deep side notches, and straight edges up to the tip.
The broken off side makes it difficult to identify the exact type of point as the base and side notch shape is less clear. However, its small size suggests it is likely an arrowhead, which became popular in the Late Period, around 2,000 to 300 years before present (BP). It seems to possible most closely resemble Prairie Side-Notched points from 1,200 to 550 years before present.~root~>
