Early 1st Avenue Northwest in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, facing south. The brick building on the right is the telephone exchange building on the southwest corner of Chaplin Street and 1st Avenue Northwest, the building south of it is the Carlton Apartments. Carlton was built in 1913 by Jack W. Bertin at 118 1st Avenue Northwest, Swift Current. Burnt down in 1953.
