Métis or Nakawē (ᓇᐦᑲᐍ) Beaded Jacket

Description Jacket has fringe on the shoulders and across the back, size 36 or 38, nicely beaded down the front on both sides of the opening, on the four pockets and on cuffs. The jacket and bead work was reportedly done by either a Métis (Brungi reference) or Nakawē (ᓇᐦᑲᐍ) First Nation person. It was made in 1909.
