Description A postcard of Central Avenue in Swift Current c. 1954, looking north on the east side. Visible business include W.W. Cooper Co. Ltd. Department Store, Eagle Theatre, Shaw Mens Wear, and Christie Grants. The film playing in the theatre is "Secret of the Incas", which came out in 1954. The caption on the back of the postcard reads "A view of Central Avenue in the city of Swift Current, Sask." Bradbrooke's Drugs, which opened in Swift Current in 1954, distributed the "Natural Color Card From Kodachrome" cards.
