Military cap, hat badge of a lion standing on a crown embroidered from gold thread and red velvet. Leather band over visor is held on by two brass buttons. Worn by Dr J P Whyte, who was a dentist during WWII and a member of the 14th Canadian Light Horse militia before WWII. Whyte was a dentist in Swift Current, at least from 1923 to c.1939.
