Medal, silver-toned metal on a red and green ribbon, one side bears an image of a canon, an anchor and flags, and the text "Crimea 1855", the other side bears an image of the Ottoman Sultan's tughra (signature), and the Muslim calendar year of 1271, this is a British issued medal given to Edward Turbott of the 44th Regiment of Foot for his services during the Crimean War.
