Black pants with white stripes down the sides, fastens with buttons, buttons for suspenders, leather stirrups with buckles on cuffs, perhaps a militia band uniform, may accompany jacket 2010.34.19. According to donor, worn by Dr J P Whyte, who was a dentist during WWII and a member of the 14th Canadian Light Horse militia before WWII. Whyte was a dentist in Swift Current, at least from 1923 to c.1939.
