A composite of the 1923 - 1924 graduating class from the Swift Current Normal School. A note written on the back reads: "In 1924 due to the shortage of teachers with so many rural school, the Department of Education had a short course in teaching in Swift Current and other centers. They were grade 11 & 12 students. They received a temporary certificate. Edith (Emond) Morrissette was one of these trainees." From left to right, top to bottom, the students are as follows: James A Ross, Kathleen Handford (President), Lois Baker, Jeanette H. Kruse, Edna Quirk, Emma Jorgenson (Secretary), Franklin Fowke, Janet A. Smith, Rachel Bisal, Insp. W.S. Cram (Asst. Principal), Ida Jensen, Insp. C.E.
